One strategy a day keeps the a away

Tell yourself
Everyday as often as possible stop and tell yourself what you have been doing, what just happened, what you are going to do next...
Think about the words you would use to tell your story.

Close your eyes
Close your eyes and listen to the recording. Try to get the whole picture at first. After the recording write down what you remember.

Imagine
While reading picture yourself doing the action. Imagine you are the one sending the email to your own friend.

New words drawing
Write down in a notebook every single new word you come across. Make a list and go back to your list every day. Draw something next to each word.

Quiz yourself
Take a quiz not to get a good mark, but to understand the grammar.
For every single question ask yourself why you got it right or wrong and write down the rule. Look for exceptions and examples.

Read the questions before
Read the questions and then the text. Trying to guess the answer before reading will help you get the right answer faster.

Do not translate
Listen to a recording and summarize in your own words. Do not translate anything, just explain in simple English.

Read aloud
Read a story aloud. Listen to yourself and pay attention to your pronunciation. If you are not certain, consult a website to check the
pronunciation of a specific word.
Highlight
Highlight the important words and expressions from a text. You can choose to focus on vocabyulary or grammar or structure.

Sing
Choose a song, get the lyrics, listen to it and sing along. Then read the song aloud super slow then super fast then in a loud voice and finally whisper it.
Sing it again and again try to copy the accent the tone the intensity. Exaggerate, have fun and learn!
Spead reading
Improve your spead.
Choose a text read and answer questions.
The objective is to get 75% not more. If you get higher or lower than 75 change level.

Keywords
Listen to the recording and write down important keywords only. Don't focus on details. Listen and write down only what is really important.

Grammar points
Choose a grammar point. Study it, read the explanation, watch a youtube video on the topic and then test yourself.
Learn English through stories
Listen to a story. Choose a story you like and listen to it. Being engaged in your listening will make you enjoy learning!

Confusing words and false friends
Write down any confusing word you can think of or any false friend! Double check each of their meaning and then try to find a way to remember them. A mnemonic could help. It could be a picture, a sound, a vision, a funny story, a sentence, reorganizing the letters.
